SEND US YOUR NOTEBOOKS

TextOfTheDay presents a notebook page by interdisciplinary artist and poet Demosthenes Agrafiotis that explores the fluidity and associative meanings of ‘poetry’ and ‘’performance’ across non-western languages, to initiate a general call for notebooks from artists and writers, which we hope to run as a series.

One last work from Peter Coates--his contribution to last year's 'Black Page' exhibition at Shandy Hall (Laurence Sterne's home in Coxwold, Yorkshire). The exhibition marked the 250th anniversary of the first publication of Tristram Shandy, with its infamous black page announcing the death of Parson Yorick. Coates's stone black page was installed next to Sterne's own memorial in the adjacent graveyard of St. Michael's, Coxwold.
